Marvin Memorial Library seeks a qualified person for the position of Trustee. The seven-member Board of Trustees, which meets on the second Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m., is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the library’s operations, including financial oversight and budgeting, personnel matters, and property management. Although all applications will be considered, applications from persons in the following demographics are especially desired: West side and rural residents, blue-collar employees, and parents/guardians with school-aged children. Residency within the Shelby City School District is preferred. Submit letter of interest with an application (available at the library) to the Board President, Marvin Memorial Library, 29 West Whitney Avenue, Shelby, Ohio 44875 by October 13th.
